In the world we live in there is a constant search for beauty. It is not as easily found therefore a rare and pleasurable treasure. The busy city streets, too-long work days, constant educating, socializing- who has time to look up? Take a minute on your break, during lunch, your morning jog, and focus on nothing but the beauty hidden around us.

Sometime I get scared when other people are in the bathroom. Actually it’s only if I’m the only one in the stall. I don’t want someone going out of the bathroom after listening to my tinkle pattern and telling everyone. If theres a bathroom full of tinkling patterns thats ok, because then they won’t know.
I plucked 4 hairs out of my arm this morning. My left arm.

Bailey

I’m watching my neice and nephew finish up their one-year-old birthday photo sesh. They were very fussy. Jenn the neighbor gal was taking the pics. She brought her dog Bailey along for the ride. Bailey was well behaved, so much I almost didn’t noticed she was there. Well fuss face one and fuss face two were melodramatic and refused any more pictures. Jenn was cleaning up and putting away her props. Bailey started to walk over to her and I saw out of the corner of my eye she was almost limping. Turning around, I was numb. Bailey was missing an entire leg. Maybe I don’t get out much, maybe I am oblivious to the facts of life, I have never seen a 3-legged dog. I was scared at first, why? Oh I don’t know maybe Bailey was a 3-legged speed demon. Then I was saddened almost to the point of tears. I couldn’t go pet her. Like I said, I was numb. In an upward stance coma. Stunned. I had to go inside, I knew I couldn’t be around her without completely flaking out. I begin pondering on everything Bailey couldn’t do or wouldn’t ever be able to do. Can she run? Can she play fetch? How does she scratch that side of her body? Still immobilized, I said a quick prayer. Looking out the window, Bailey was sitting wagging her tail, and from my angle, looked like a beautiful, happy, healthy golden retreiver.

POST-ECONOMICALISM
Posted by kootsy in Sep 11, 2009, under i RAN into a DOMe ceiling yesterday.
The debut of this ground breaking movement blog is obviously going to be late. Why, because sometimes time is irrelevant. Time, money, clothing; all potentially irrelevant. We, as a society, grew from nothing. We grew into a greedy, over-indulging country. We started running wild. There is nothing in this world that is more important than money, and that is unfortunate. At the same time it is our own fault. We, the people, made things this way. A way where money is our top priority. We strive for good paying jobs, not because we like the industry, but merely because the money is good.
We ourselves have created a society where a 7 ft man with big muscles can play a game and make triple what a surgeon with 3 degrees and 20 years of schooling under his belt makes in 5 years. But it is our own fault. We the people, go to those games, pay for the overpriced tickets, spend astronomical amounts on concessions, rinse, and repeat. Putting the money directly into those overly sized male species pockets. BUT, we neglect, or resist, paying for medical bills, doctors visits, and health care screenings. We have created this society ourselves.
We also have created a society where men are dominant over females. We have created a society where money means more than anything to us. We have created this unhealthy obese society. WE THE PEOPLE have created this kind of society we live in. Yet we continue to piss and moan consistently about our society and its internal and external inconsistencies.
Basically, to sum it up in a nutshell, Jesse and myself are geniouses, and we should be living in a society where money, economics, and riches are behind us. At this advance stage of our society we should be living in a post-economicalistic world. THIS IS AMERICA FOR CHRISTS SAKE.
In addition to the above ramblings on to the groundbreaking movement, let’s tell a story of our nation. As of today, September 21, 2009, our nation, is $11,823,669,402,365.16 in debt. If it’s easier for you to read it this way here goes- Eleven trillion, eight huindred twenty three billion, six hundred sixty nine million, four hundred two thousand, three hundred sixty five dollars and sixteen cents. Our national debt per day since September 28, 2007, is $3.89 billion. From sea to shining fanfreakintastic sea.
Our nation is not just the here and now. We are in debt to those before us, Honest Abe, and such. We are in debt to those we have not yet met, yo baby’s momma’s other baby. Our nation, the people, not the physical aspect, is in debt to the future and the past. Not just the current moment. Those before have created what we have today, and those unbeknownst to us, will change what will be of tomorrow.
So, instead of trashing our country like we have a spare in the trunk, let us build an empire.
